There is nothing more important.
Passing on the game isn't
about what we get out of it,
it's about giving back what was given to us.

Putting the game in the hands of those coming up
so that they might themselves deliver it to those
behind them is the ultimate way to honor the game.

It's a responsibility.
It's a responsibility we take seriously.

Anyone who has worked with C-REV before knows that we approach things differently. We look to the models we see working around the country, add in our own best practices, and seek input from some of the best in the game. What we put on the field is the best we can offer. We know it's not for everyone but if you or your player can commit to the process, we know you will be rewarded on the other side. It is with this in mind that we are offering our 2017 Guys Upstate Summer Series.

DETAILS:
We are offering the 2017 Guys Upstate Summer Series to players ages 13 to 18. Practices will be on Sundays at Woodside Park from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm beginning May 7, 2017 and then we'll add Saturdays at Riverside Middle School from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm beginning May 13, 2017 and then we'll add Thursdays at Woodside Park from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm beginning June 1, 2017 and finally Wednesdays at Riverside Middle School from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm beginning June 7, 2017.  24 sessions in all across two locations. We know families have many summer commitments so if you need to miss sessions, we understand.

The focus for each session will be split between instruction and playing. The instruction will be tailored for each player so no matter where their current skill level is, we'll challenge everyone to get better. Players will not be judged against each other but rather on progressing in their own ability level. The playing will focus on one basic idea: Having FUN! We'll encourage competition to be certain but we cannot emphasize enough that players of every age need to enjoy what they are being asked to do. Playing format will vary from session to session within the series. We'll focus on up-tempo, high participation games that will require players to apply the skills we teach, but do so in an enjoyable, no pressure environment. Games may be 2 vs. 2, 3 vs. 3, 5 vs. 5, or some combination. Games will be played within small boundaries to keep the play moving and prevent much of the unproductive back and forth or simply waiting around that 10 vs. 10 large field games can create at these age groups. We may add small goals. We may add a 2-point line. We may only count behind the back goals. Again, we are asking the kids to have fun when they play.

In addition to the practices and game sessions, our coaching staff will be actively looking to schedule pick up style games against other local summer teams. These games are meant for player development and having fun. These games may be scheduled on a normal practice day. Details will be communicated by the coaching staff as soon as possible.

If you are looking for an ultra competitive, win at all costs, look at my player, we're seeking to commit to a top 10 Division I school before high school type of environment, we are not that experience and cannot recommend strongly enough that you do not register. If however like us, you believe there is reward in the effort and that sustained enjoyment makes putting in the effort more fun, we might just be what you are looking for.

COST: $135.00
Cost for the entire series will be $135.00. Registration includes a player pack with a team reversible pinnie, a shorts, and a shooting shirt.
